This website was created to present, as accurately as possible, a record of our familie's past. Many families today  become separated by distance and some by circumstance. Every family will eventually becomes separated by time. Herein you will find many of those who came before us. Some you may have known, most you have not. It is with utmost respect to these individuals that I present this family history. 

My name is Michael Kohus. This family website contains historical information about ancestors of mine and my wife's families. It includes thousands of names and hundreds of branches. In FAMILY TREE to the left, you can search all the names in the database. Under the four root surnames Kohus, Mihm, Hargis and Littleton, I have included items of interest pertaining to each family and branches.

Though I have tried diligently to preserve the integrity of the information herein, it undoubtedly contains some inaccuracies. Most names and information are documented though some may be less so. Always use this tree as a guide. I will be happy to share records or photos if you would like to contact me. I always try to respect others privacy by not displaying birth dates of living individuals born after 1930. The census records up to 1930 are already public. If your name or photograph appears on this website and you would like it removed, please let me know.
