Dad and I went to Wright Patterson Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio the summer of 2004. He was 87 at the time this photo was taken and had not seen a 40 and 8 box car in almost 60 years. We were both surprised to see it in an Air Force museum. The supplies these cars carried to the front lines played a vital part in winning the war in Europe.
