Wilber Duncan

1888-1964

Wilber Duncan is the son of Oscar Duncan 1865-1958 and Anna Elisabeth Walters 1869-1956. Wilber is pictured below with his sister Mabel Julia (Duncan) Kohus 1890-1970. He was born in Madisonville, Hamilton County, Ohio on 27 Jul 1888. On his WWII draft registration card it states that he was missing 3 fingers at the second joint on his left hand. That may have disqualified him for the draft. The occupations I have found that Wilber worked at are, in 1910 he was a laborer in a brass works, in 1920 he drove a milk truck, in 1930 he worked as a Salesman at an oil station and in 1942 he was a house to house salesman. I was told by some who knew him that in his later years he walked with the assistance of a cane. Wilber married Clara C. Overberg 1890-1961 who was born to German parents 4 Sep 1890. Clara died on 20 Sep 1961 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. Wilber Duncan died on 5 Mar 1964 in Cincinnati.
