Solomon Esli Swa

Solomon Esli Swartz was born 9 Sep 1957 in West Salem, Wayne County, Congress Township, Ohio. His parents were William R. Swartz 1820-1908 and Elizabeth Ann Bonewitz 1824-1897, both from Pennsylvania. Solomon first married  Elizabeth Ann Grindle 1858-1879 on 8 Dec 1878 in Wayne County, Ohio (#2418).  They had six children I can name: Clarence L. 1881-, Mary A . 1885-, Ida E. 1889-, Gary F. 1893-, Edith M. 1897- and Paul S. 1899-. Solomon's occupation was farming. His wife, Elizabeth (Grindle) Swartz, died in 1897. Solomon next married Louisa Loretta Smith 1860-1929. Solomon Esli Swartz died on 12 Dec 1916, preceding his second wife's death almost 13 years. Louisa Loretta Smith died on 16 Jul 1929. They are both buried in Burbank Cemetery, Wayne County, Congress Township, Ohio.
