Sarah Elizabeth Newcomer

Sarah Elizabeth Newcomer was born 5 Jul 1820 in Pennsylvania. She married Simon Clouse 1815-1899 on 30 Mar 1841 in Wayne County, Ohio. They had at least six children I can name, Mary 1844-1928, Jasper 1947-1851, Lewis F., James Monroe 1852-1925, Leander 1857-1888 and Oliver 1859-1940. Sarah and her husband Simon farmed for a living. Sarah died on 7 May 1884 in Ashland County, Jackson Township, Ohio. She is buried in Rickel Cemetery, Ashland, County, Ohio. Sadly, Rickel Cemetery is in bad disrepair and Sarah's headstone is one of several that is off it's base and lying on the ground.
