Robert Austin Swartz

1864-1952

Robert Austin Swartz was born 8 Oct 1864 in West Salem, Wayne County, Congress Township, Ohio.  He was the son of William R. Swartz 1820-1908 and Elizabeth Ann Bonewitz 1824-1897. Robert was a farmer by occupation. Robert was married two times. He married his first  wife Elizabeth Premer 1871-1893, on 8 Apr 1887 in Ashland County, Ohio  (#2420).  At this time I can only name one of their children, Evelyn May (Swartz) Swanson 1891-1914 (#2421). Elizabeth Premer died on 27 Sep 1893. She is buried in West Salem Cemetery, Wayne County, Ohio. Robert next  married Edna Grace McClellan 1876-1930, daughter of William McClellan of Vermont and Lavenge French of Homer, Ohio. They were wed on 26 Mar 1896 in Wayne County, Ohio (#2410). Robert Austin Swartz died on 23 Jul 1952 in Amherst, Lorain County, Ohio (#2409). He is buried in Rocheste Station Cemetery, Rochester, Lorain County Ohio.
