Peter Howard Buckley

1912-1984

Peter Howard Buckley Jr. was the son of Peter F. Buckley 1884-1920 and Alma C. Kohus 1890-1981. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio 12 Jan 1912. His mother Alma was the daughter of Louis Kohus 1858-1907 and Julia Elbrey 1860-1945 of Cincinnati, Ohio. Pete had a younger sister Dorothy Buckley 1908-1982. Pete's father was a Cincinnati Fireman who died while fighting a fire at the Newton Tea and Spice Company in 1920. His mother married again in 1926. Pete moved with his mother,  step father Clarence H. Dreyfus and grandmother Julia (Elbrey) Kohus to Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. He married Lucille Campbell 1914-2006. It is probably their child in the photo below on right. Peter Howard Buckley died in Atlanta in Jun 1984. Lucille died on 20 Sep 2006.
