Miriam Harris

Miriam Harris was born 27 Oct 1826 in Wayne County, Congress Township, Ohio. She married Michael D. Clouse 1823-1856 on 9 Aug 1849, in Wooster, Wayne County, Ohio (#2375). Michael was a farmer by trade. They had at least three children I can name, Mary Elizabeth 1852-1925, Henry Willis 1854-1948 and Cynthia C. 1856-1903. Miriam's husband, Michael D. Clouse, died on 9 Jun 1856 in Wayne County, Ohio. Miriam (Harris) Clouse died on 4 May 1867 in Wayne County. They are both buried in Rickel Cemetery, Ashland County, Ohio. Rickel Cemetery is a small cemetery located in a wooded area near an Amish farm. Sadly, the cemetery is in great disrepair with many of the headstones broken or falling over.
