Joseph Andrew Clouse

1883-1958

Joseph Andrew Clouse was born on 28 Mar 1883 in Van Wert, County, Ohio, the son of George Washington Clouse 1845-1931 and Mary Barbara Pflueger 1855-1935. By 1900 he relocated from Van Wert, Ohio to Kingfisher County, Oklahoma along with  his parents. Some time before 1920 he and his parents relocated to Polk County, Cove Township, Arkansas. Joseph was living in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma again on the 1930 census. His 1942 draft registration (#2088) shows him in Hatfield, Polk County, Cove Township, Arkansas and gave the name Amy Clouse, Hatfield, Arkansas, as the person to contact who would know his whereabouts. Joseph died on 20 Aug 1958 in Rusk, Cherokee County, Texas. He is buried in Mena, Polk County, Arkansas. Below is a photo of Joseph with parents and siblings.
