Forest David Mihm

1885-1946

Forest David Mihm was born 30 May 1885 in Van Wert County, Ohio. Though he used the name Forest David Mihm, it is interesting to note that he is listed in his mother's personal bible as David Foraker Mihm (#1018c). He was the son of Thomas Fredrick Mihm 1852-1931 and Elsie Ann Dull 1853-1937. Forest married Lucy Ann Tumbling 1887-1978 on .28 Apr 1907 in Van Wert County, Ohio (#2237). On the 1920 census, Forest was listed as an Engineer at the Water Works , probably the Van Wert Water Works where his brother Justice Elmer Mihm 1882-1947 also worked. On Forest's  his death certificate (#2023) it says that at the time of his death he was working as a real estate broker. Forest and his son were involved in an automobile accident in 1928. They were injured but both survived. Forest David Mihm died 5 Jan 1946 in Van Wert County, Ohio. Lucy (Tumbling) Mihm died in Apr 1978.
