Evelyn Elisabeth Kohus

1909-1978

Evelyn Elisabeth Kohus, was born in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio on 19 Mar 1909, to the parents of Herbert Bernard Kohus Sr. 1886-1969 and Mabel Julia Duncan 1890-1970. Evelyn first married Harley Eubanks 1802-1930, (probably between 1927-1929). Harley was the son of John Eubanks 1875-1951 and Alvyra Ellison 1875-1958 of Adams County, Ohio. Harley Eubanks died on  25 Mar 1930 from injuries received in an automobile accident. He's buried in Highland Cemetery, Highland County, Ohio. Evelyn next married Walter Slayback 1900-1986 from Belleview, Boone County, Kentucky. He was the son of John Edward 1874-1921 and Mary M. Lowline 1861-1929.Evelyn and Walter were married on 17 Feb 1894 in Rising Sun, Ohio County, Indiana. They had no children. Evelyn worked at the Seagram Distillery located in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Walter and Evelyn lived their lives together in Aurora, Indiana. Evelyn (Kohus) Slayback died on 12 Aug 1978. Walter L. Slayback died on 4 Jan 1986.
