 Cecil Alvin Foor 1908-1992 and Thomas Fredrick Mihm 1852-1931

Cecil Alvin Foor was born in Darke County, Greenville Township, Ohio, on 21 Aug 1908. He was the son of Solomon A. Foor 1877-*1930 and Mary Eliza Clouse 1882-1922. His wife's name appears beside his on his headstone photo, Grace L 1921-.. The photograph below is of  Thomas F. Mihm 1852-1931, the older man standing by Cecil Foor.. Cecil died on 8 May 1992. His last residence was Decatur, Adams County, Indiana. He is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City, Ohio.

Story by Virginia Louise Kohus (nee) Mihm 1921-2003, on 13 Nov 2000. Cecil Foor was my first cousin, son of my aunt Mary ( Mary Eliza Clouse 1882-1922), my mom's sister. He was quite a guy. Cecil was at our house about every Sunday. He died around 3 to 5 years ago in Indiana.  He had 1 daughter and a granddaughter.  Cecil and Floyd (Mihm) were good friends. even if we were 1st cousins. He had one brother Berl and a sister Leona. All died before Cecil. Berl worked for the city of Ft. Wayne, and Cecil was a farmers helper. I don't know what he did after he got married and moved to Indiana. I saw him last when Helen died. (Helen Mihm 1912-1966 was Virginia's sister)
