Carl L. Faulkner

1909-1985

Carl Faulkner was born in Van Wert, County, Ohio on 26 Oct 1909 the son of Harry Faulkner and Della Doudder. Carl married  Gertrude Iona Mihm 1916-1998 on 20 Feb 1933 (#2352). Gertrude was the daughter of Justice Elmer Mihm 1882-1947 and Ada Elisabeth Clouse 1888-1971. Marriage announcement 20 Feb 1933 in the Van Wert Daily Bulletin (#2139). Carl Faulkner is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Allen County, Ohio.

Obituary: Thursday March 21 1985 - Born Oct. 26, 1909 in Van Wert Co. Ohio and died Wednesday at Lima Memorial Hospital; the son of Carrie and Della Dowden Faulkner. In 1932 he married Gertrude Mihm who survives. He retired from DeVita Fruit Co. and along with his wife the survivors are three sons, Herbert F. of Marion, Robert F. and Carl F. both of Howe In., two dau.'s Betty Osborn of Marengo and Marjorie Hadding of Botkins; 19 gchildren, four ggchildren; a brother Herbert F. Faulkner of Roseville, Ca. and five sisters, Mrs George (Vera) Kelly, Mrs. Russell (Grace) Ralston, all of Van Wert, Mrs. William (Betty) Barnes and Mrs. Robert (Armedia) Raski, both of Toledo. Burial in Memorial
