Adeline Duncan

1861-1929

Adeline Duncan  was born in Hanover, Jefferson County, Indiana on 1 Mar 1861. She was the daughter of David Duncan and Susanna Dunham 1835-1924. Adeline's parents moved the family to Madisonville, Hamilton County, Columbia Township, Ohio, about 1866 or 1867. Adeline married Edward J. Maphet 1864-1921, in 1899. Edward was the son of Andrew J. Maphet and Sarah A. Danhagelly. He worked in the lumber industry. They were living in Knox County, Tennessee when the 1900 census was taken. They later moved back to the Cincinnati, Ohio area where Edward died on 26 Jul 1921 in Hamilton County, Ohio. Adeline (Duncan) Maphet died on 25 Jan 1929 in Hamilton County, Ohio. They are both buried in Laurel Cemetery, Madisonville, Hamilton County, Ohio. Death Certificate (#1187)
