William Lemuel Hargis 1878-1948

William Lemuel Hargis was the son of Thomas T. Hargis 1856-1884 and Martha Ellen Fraley 1864-1909. He married Ruth Kathryn Smedley 1885-1956, on 20 December 1900 in Rowan County, Kentucky (#409). William was the grandson of Jacob Weddington Hargis 1828-1915 and his first wife Lucinda South. William Lemuel Hargis died on 2 March 1948 (#405). He is buried in Lee Cemetery, Rowan County, Kentucky.
