Thomas Allen Hargis

1904-1982

Thomas Allen Hargis was born 8 Jun 1904 in Rowan County, Kentucky. He was the son of William Norvel Hargis 1869-1946 and Nancy Ethel Gearhart 1871-1959. Thomas was raised on a farm in Rowan County and later moved to Douglas County, Oregon where he ran a logging business. He was a US Navy Veteran. Tom and wife Ruth next moved to the state of Washington. Thomas Alan Hargis died in Newport, Pend Oreille County, Washington on 8 Dec 1982. He is buried in Ballard Cemetery, Bonner County, Idaho.
