James Stanley Hargis was born 26 Apr 1895 in Russell County, Virginia. He was the son of William Leonard Hargis 1868-1956 and Mollie Powers 1876-1903. James was a World War II veteran, He married Louisa Eldredge 1901-1961. James Hargis and wife Louisa are buried in Russell Memorial Cemetery, Lebanon, Russell County, Virginia.
