Jack Gorden Hargis is the son or Charles Ottis Hargis 1896-1976 and Maudie Marie Chapman 1901-1985. Jack is a veteran and served in the U. S. Army from 1944-1949. He married Betty Jerleen Johnson, the daughter of George William Johnson and Alma Hazel Stevens on 11 Jul 1931. Jack and Jerleen raised three children, Jacqueline, Carla and Teresa.
