Benjamin Thomas Hamm was born in Rowan County, Kentucky in Jan 1877.  He was  the son of James Simon Hamm 1878-1914 and Mary Elisabeth Johnson 1852-1919, benjamin's older brother was Basil Ham 1882-1967.  Benjamin was married 3 times. He married Sarah Alice Charles 188201939 on 17 Mar 1897. His other wives were Sarah Jane Amett Ritchie and Rosa Caskey. He died on 26 Nov 1959 and is buried in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Bluestone, Rowan County, Kentucky.
